When Audrey Chapman and I first started talking about this show, we were most excited about discussing the question of “why we love Black men” with Donna Britt. She’s the author of Brothers (and Me), and when she was a regular columnist for The Washington Post her pieces were on women’s lips almost more than lipstick.
Donna raised the question of why Black women give so much to their men. Audrey’s relationship counselor experience started churning, and she felt that, ultimately, the bottom line is there are women who love too much.
Yes … you CAN love too much! Does that sound like you, or someone you know? Then you’re going to want to get in on tomorrow’s show.
Call in during the entire show, especially the first hour when Audrey can work with you on your specific concerns about loving too much. Donna Britt will be with Audrey for the second hour, which airs exclusively on H.U.R. Voices/SiriusXM Channel 141.
The numbers are: 202-319-7810 or 1-855-288-HURN (4876).
We look forward to hearing from you tomorrow morning!
