How many of you attended the Caribbean Carnivals just concluded? These include DC, Caribana, Crop Over, Vincy Mas, St. Lucia and Antigua. I am curious about your impressions. Anybody went to Reggae Sumfest this year. Love to hear from you.

Also what about our new interactive web site?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Welcome one and all to the new network experience, glad to have you on-board. Since broadcasting is mostly a one-way communication I am excited that I will be able to hear from you and communicate with you, my extended family, quite often. Please let me know what part of the globe you are blogging from so we can include you in our programming, particularly The Worldbeat Experience on WHUR WORLD HD2 on Sundays 2 PM to 6 PM. Either my producer and co-host of The Worldbeat Experience, Lisa Hollomand, or myself will be blogging regularly. We are continualy building our site to serve you better so be patient with us as we grow together.

Finally, thank you for making The Caribbean Experience the #1 program on Saturdays 12 midnight to Sundays 6 AM. We appreciate your loyalty and do not take that for granted.

Now it's your turn. Send us a blog. We are waiting.

hey John, i've been out of the loop for a while,. whats up with the 2am time change, i was shocked to see this from whur, why can't they give us a more reasonable time so that we all in the whole area can enjoy the music and news alot more, its like they don't want anyone to be apart of this show by making it even later for people now,. i say it should be on in prime time like friday from 6pm to night, but thats my opinion, i don't see the true support coming from the station with this move, i could be wrong so please correct me.

For the year 2009, for everyone that leaves a full message on our Guestbook at the end of our website with your First and Last, telling us how you personally feel about Child Abuse, we will showcase you on the Honorable Mentions Page on our website, and place a link to your business – regardless of what it is, on our website, which gets over 200 hits a day.

    Here’s the link:

    www.cj-brooks.com/theguestbook.htm

We are doing this because in leaving your message on our Guestbook, you are showing us that you are working as hard as we are to save the lives of our African American Children - and therefore you deserve this much. Keep in mind that we are interested in reading your own "Personal" feelings about this Epidemic. We look forward to reading your words on our Guestbook. (Be sure to turn up your Speakers – there is R&B Music on every page!)

I, and the Children who manage to survive this Epidemic, will never be able to thank you enough.
