    Hey Harold

Listening to the drum now. Shouts to the organizations working with young people. They are in the trenches. Their insight is valuable and as someone who used to run an inner city youth program, I particularly appreciate your guests work. Thanks for this show....

    Greetings:
In response to the comment made on Insight this evening, I wanted to follow up with an activity that the Student National Medical Association is putting on to remind the country of why health reform is needed and highlight the real issues of why inaccess to health care is an injustice to all.

We are looking to stage the March for Health Equity in just over 3 weeks in the Black Belt of Alabama where people receive less access to health care and reflect many minority communities across the nation where the burden of health lies heavily on those persons of color. Our event looks to empower the residents to reach out to their congressmen and discuss their concerns about the lack of affordable and quality health care and ensure that the voice of minority and rurual populations is not lost in this larger discussion of health reform.

I commend WHUR for discussing the lack of the minrity voice in these discussion and encouraging our communities in their endeavors. To get more information on this student drivent effort to serve the community, please see www.snma-advocacy.com/MHE.html Thank you for your time, attention, and support as we look to make the health care system more equitable.
