Bobby Gailes is a native New Yorker, which makes him a huge Yankees Baseball and Giants Football fan. For the past ten years his home has been in Maryland with his wife Joyetta of 27 years. Together they have three wonderful children, Michael, Janine and Jacqueline, whom they are extremely proud of.
Bobby’s other interests have included acting, writing, directing and producing a variety of projects for radio, public broadcast, and theater. In his down time, Bobby enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, bike riding, NASCAR driving, reading and playing chess.

The Weekend Review
The Weekend Review, hosted by on-air personality Bobby Gailes and produced by OnRae Watkins, can be heard from 12 midnight to 2am Sunday mornings on 96.3 WHUR, on HUR Voices Sirius/XM Channel 141 Saturday evenings from 6pm to 8pm and on WHUR-World 96.3 HD-2 from 8pm to 10pm. The show consist of several benchmark features such as the Top 10 Countdown – Keeps our audience up to date with what’s hot musically, we count down the top 10 songs from across the country based as well as requests from our listeners. The other popular feature is The Weekend Review’s Mini-Concert Series – Each week we highlight the music of a different artist or group.
The New Artist Feature
The New Artist Feature is a thirty-minute music program that features upcoming and independent artists from around the country. Host Bobby Gailes sits down with some of the newest talent from across the US and provides each artist with exposure not normally afforded to new talent on conventional radio. The program is a mix of in depth conversation and spotlights various songs from the artists’ most recent projects. The show airs on Sirius/XM on channel Thursday’s from 12noon -12:30pm and re-airs Saturday’s from 11am-11:30am and again on Tuesday’s from 9:30-10am.
