- Fitness Friday Exercise Program –

Marie Johns


Here’s the deal:

Your exercise program for the next six months if you choose to accept this mission… Starting July 7th, I am personally taking on a fitness client name Marie Johns. We will work out three day per week and follow a realistic meal plan that you will be able to find on WHUR .com under Fitness Friday.

We will also do before, progress and after pictures. Marie’s goals are overall better fitness and weight loss of 30 pounds. So, Let’s do it. Here it is… I welcome you to join us on this fitness journey to achieve your own fitness goals along with Marie. Start July 7th, and let’s shift the paradigm to the Health women of Washington. And we’re going to finish it all off with one fantastic celebration.

- Fitness Friday Meal of The Day –

Grilled Bass topped with Chunky Mango


We are headed to the grill to make Grilled Bass topped with Chunky Mango. A firm white fish with delicate flavor, bass is delicious with bold seasonings. A mixture of fresh ginger and orange juice acts like a culinary light bulb in the sauce, brightening the musky sweetness of mango…


  • 4 (6-ounce) bass or other firm white fish fillets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup Chunky Mango-Ginger Sauce


Prepare grill.
Brush fish with oil; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Grill fish for 4 minutes on each side or until the fish flakes easily when tested with a fork. Serve with the Chunky Mango-Ginger Sauce.

About Dr. Judy,

A professor and a triathlete who teaches at several colleges in the Maryland area. She is currently the CEO of The Platform Magazine. She serves as a spokeswoman and advocate for several biological, health medicine and forensic science organizations. Additionally, as a triathlete, and National Health/Fitness Specialist she assists in several community programs to initiative “health in youth sports” and is part of the USA Swimming, USA hockey and USAT organizations. Judy Staveley was born in San Antonio, Texas and currently resides in Maryland.

And we are be talking about what’s going on in the world of health for women and the new fitness trends that women are getting involved in today.
