Some things never change. Lauryn Hill was under fire last year for constantly being late for her shows. And yet again, now in 2017, she still has no respect for paying fans’ time and money. Lauryn Hill reportedly showed up three hours late to her Pittsburgh show at Heinz Hall.
According to social media, concertgoers report the show was scheduled to start at 8 p.m. but by 11 p.m., Hill still had not shown.
The Late Lauryn Hill….she ain't dead…but her career is..ok maybe that was harsh buuuut…how you gonna be three hours late talmbout your band is missing and you had to wait for hair and make up? yet you show up with a beanie on and the band looks an awful lot like the men I watched connect cords on stage for hours 🤔 whats going on? I want you to be great. I don't want to feel this way about you. Your legacy deserves better than this *drops mic* #laurynhill #mslaurynhill #heinzhall #pgh #pittsburgh #culturaldistrict #ijustlovemusic
Don’t get me wrong. I’m a HUGE Lauryn Hill fan but this is getting old. It’s been years since she released an album yet we still hold confidence in such an incredible talent. The least Lauryn can do is show on time and give her loyal fans an incredible show. Is that too much to ask?
Fans are beginning to lose their patience with Lauryn once again. Check out these memes.
Lauryn Hill took to Facebook in 2016 to respond to fans’ outrage over her excessive tardiness.
Lauryn, we love you and are trying to hang in there with you but you must do better. You owe that much to your fans. God bless.
