Police made an arrest in arson fire in Silver Spring…
Montgomery County Police have charged a 19-year-old with arson in connection to this mornings house fire in Silver Spring. Fire investigators say the two-alarm blaze was set on the second floor of the home on Sea Island Court. After trying to the fire out, the family managed to escaped unharmed.
All clear given at Landover Metro Station…
Everything is back to normal on the Orange line at the Landover Metro Station. Earlier this morning a train had to be evacuated for what some thought was a fire. Officials say the heavy smoke was due to the trains breaks. No one was injured.
DC Police Department is hit with a Multimillion dollar lawsuit…
The DC Police Department has been slapped with a multimillion-dollar lawsuit. The family of Terrence Sterling has filed a $50 Million Dollar Wrongful death suit against the department and the police officer who shot the 31-year-old in the back and neck. Sterling who was riding a motorcycle during the September 11th incident died of his injures. The family say’s Sterling poised “No” threat to the officer.
