President Obama and President-Elect Trump are meeting now…

Right now President Elect Donald Trump is meeting with President Barack Obama inside of the Oval Office at the White House. Today’s meeting begins the formal transition of power. During a press conference yesterday the President admitted to their difference but he assured that the process will be a smooth one.  Meantime, the First Lady Michelle Obama is meeting with Melania Trump. Mrs. Obama will later give her a tour of the White House private residence. Afterwards, President-elect Trump and Vice President-Elect Pence will meet with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan.

A local school pays tribute to a teacher killed over child support…

Earlier this morning a mural was unveiled at Bradbury Height’s Elementary School in Capitol Heights for a teacher who was killed this year. 26-year-old Ne-Shante Davis and her 2-year-old daughter Chole were shot & killed in February by the child’s father. The reason he said was because he was ordered to pay $600 in child support.Md. woman set on fire by her boyfriend continues to cling onto life…

The Kettering woman who was doused with fuel by her boyfriend and then set on fire on Tuesday remains in critical condition. It happened in a home on Herrington Drive. Her boyfriend who’s accused of causing the fire has since died of his injuries. He has been identified as 664-year-old Louis Fedee.

Day 2 in Cincinnati police shooting of an unarmed motorist…

The jury in the murder case of a former Cincinnati white police office charged with the shooting death of an unarmed African American motorist earlier this year enters a second day of deliberations. Ray Tensing claimed he shot Sam De-bose last July while he was being dragged by his car. Tensing’s body cam and eye witness accounts contracted his claim. He faces from 3 to 11 years for Volunteer manslaughter or 15 to life in prison if convicted of murder.
