President Trump calls for an unexpected press conference this morning…

Within the hour President Trump is expected to address the American public, he made the unexpected announcement just moments ago. The President is expected to announce his new selection for Labor Secretary.

DC school with bed bugs will remain open…

Minor Elementary School in N.E. DC is being monitored –this after 3 people this month were found with bed bugs on them at the school. The school is still open and the custodial staff is working to make sure all area’s and surfaces are properly cleaned.

More than 5 dozen businesses in DC take part in “A Day Without Immigrants” …

DC is joining other cities around the country taking part in a national protest called “A Day Without Immigrants”. More than 60 businesses in DC are either closed, not serving food or offering a limited menu in protest of President Trump’s immigration policies. Some of the businesses that choice to close completely are Sweet Green, Bus Boy and Poets and Jose Andreas restaurants.

Organizers of Women’s March announce “A Day Without Women” next month…

A month after the historic Women’s March on Washington comes word this morning that the organizers have now announced a general strike called “A Day Without A Woman”. It will take place on March 8th, which is International Women’s Day. The organization has not released all of the details but they say that will come via social media in the coming weeks of course we will give you the details when they come available.
