    It was 1979 when Patrick Ellis began hosting Washington’s Sunday Best in Gospel heard Sunday mornings on WHUR. Under his direction it’s currently the #1 Sunday morning radio show in the metro area. Patrick’s broadcasting career started at WHUR in 1971 as a producer. He’s held a number of different positions at the station including directing the Office of Student Affairs, Public Affairs Director and Station Production Director. A native Washingtonian, Patrick devotes much time to community and civic affairs. He holds a BA degree in Communications from Howard University and resides in Mitchellville, Maryland with his wife Angela.
