Katherine Jackson, 92, will testify in her lawsuit against her son’s estate.  Jackson’s executors, John Branca, and John McClain, allegedly sought the court’s approval of a contract they negotiated, claiming they “have an opportunity which they believe is to the substantial advantage of the estate and in the best interest of the beneficiaries.”

The channel will feature music from Jackson’s albums and from live performances, including his 1988 concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium on his Bad Tour.

A source tells Page Six, “There’s a lot of heated discussion at the network about how to handle the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award this year, and it’s getting ugly. There’s talk about if they should change the name, or get rid of it altogether. [There’s also talk] about who would present it and who would accept it. It’s a mess.”

But we best remember Michael by paying tribute to his legacy of philanthropic work and ask music fans everywhere to make a difference in their community — whether it’s planting a tree, volunteering at a shelter, cleaning up a public space or helping someone who is lost find their way.

“Ten years ago today, the world lost a gifted artist and extraordinary humanitarian,” the Jackson estate said in a statement to The Associated Press. “A decade later, Michael Jackson is still with us, his influence embedded in dance, fashion, art and music of the moment. He is more important than ever.”

There’s been no rescinding honors like has happened to Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein, or mass movements to stop playing Jackson’s music, as R&B singer R. Kelly has faced.

“For the last year and a half I was the closest person to Michael Jackson,” Tohme told The Associated Press in an interview shortly after Jackson’s death.

“Michael Jackson’s musical contributions remain part of the Motown story,” Robin Terry said.
