Girls Who Code – Careers in Computer Technology

Pushing our female youth towards careers in the computer tech field.  That’s the mission of a national non-profit organization called Girls Who Code.  They are gearing up for their free 7-week program designed for rising junior and senior high school girls.  I have the DC Metro Community Organizer Kate Harrison with me to give you all the details on how you can get your teen involved with Girls Who Code.

Girls Who Code is now accepting applications for its 2017 Summer Immersion Program.  The program is open to current 10th and 11th grade girls.  Apply at www.girlswhocode.com
