Today’s Guest: Greta Foster – Executive Student Director of Alternative Spring Break 2014 Steering Committee.

On Sunday, March 2nd for 6am to 6pm, WHUR will host its annual “Helping Hands” radiothon, designed to raise money to help send hundreds of Howard University students to cities across the country and Haiti to be in service to those in need.   It’s all a part of supporting Howard’s Alternative Spring Break Program, which is now in its 20th year.  Students will be going to such cities as Baltimore, New Orleans, Chicago, Washington DC, Detroit, Memphis, and Haiti.
