Careers In The Events Industry

This morning on Taking It to the Streets we’re spotlighting a wonderful organization that’s teaching underserved youth about the career paths in the events industry.  This black and woman owned business provides a 10-week program for youth designed to teach them everything from how to plan a gala to the proper interaction with VIP guests.  Joining me in studio to tell us more about this organization and how you can get your youth involved is the Founder and Executive Director LaToya Lewis.

EnventU is a non-profit organization that works with students to teach them a career path for the events industry. For more information go to:  www.enventu.org
