Unrealistic for Men To Commit To One Woman
Musician Akon believes the idea of a man having to settle for one sexual partner for all of eternity is ridiculous and unrealistic, and if women could just accept that, there would be far less domestic disputes.
Akon was at LAX yesterday when he commented about the pressures of being in a monogamous relationship.
He thinks if women took more time to learn about how the brains of men worked it would be beneficial. He feels most females don’t understand men can’t escape their genes.
“As a male, we’re natural breeders by nature. We can’t even escape it if we wanted to and women need to take more time to understand how men are built. Women aren’t built to mate with more than one party… men are,” he told a reporter for gossip website TMZ.
Akon, 40, said accepting this ideology could even prevent violence. Akon (real name Aliaune Thiam) went as far as suggesting there would be less domestic problems in the US if females embraced what they can’t change.
“I think if America adopted that culture there would be less domestic disputes,” he said.
Akon insists there’s no need for commitment when dating. And before marriage he wants men to make sure they’ve had their share of the “multiple women on earth.”
“The average guy in the world has a main girl, then they have a side chick and then they got a jump off,” he believes.
“Men were put on this earth to breed, and the reason why God put multiple women on this earth is for that. I don’t know one woman that can satisfy a man’s every need, it’s impossible,” he explained.
I don’t mean to throw shade at my boy Akon because I like his music but I don’t agree with this at all. I never agree with Generalizations. I know many men who live their lives with one woman and are totally happy. On the other hand, I know men who are just like Akon. But to bring God into it and say that’s why he put multiple women on the earth! C’mon Man!!Â
