Everyone is excited! We just received news that The Howard University Radio Network is a finalist for the prestigious and highly competitive New York Festival’s International Radio Program Awards. The NYF’s International Radio Program Awards honors radio programming and promotions in all lengths and formats from radio stations, networks and independent producers from around the globe. Finalists include but aren’t limited to the BBC, the Australian Broadcasting Company, The Canadian Broadcasting Company, Radio24syv of Denmark, Bloomberg, and Radio Taiwan International. WHUR-World on 96.3 HD2 and HUR Voices on SiriusXM 141 are up for awards in two categories:
“Blues on Blues” for Best Regularly Scheduled Music Program
“InnerView” for Best Talk/Interview Special
